My Voting Record in the House of Representatives
You can see how I voted on roll call votes during the past session here: http://gencourt.state.nh.us/house/members/member.aspx?pid=9156 .
There are 2 other ways that we vote in the House of Representatives – voice votes and division votes. Voice votes are usually taken on non-controversial legislation, and we shout out “Aye” or “Nay” when the Speaker asks for the vote, and the loudest group wins. Division votes are taken on bills by using the electronic voting system that we use for roll call votes, but no record is kept of how an individual Representative votes – it simply tallies the vote total.
You can see the list of bills that I sponsored or co-sponsored during the last session here http://gencourt.state.nh.us/house/members/member.aspx?pid=9156
